The Curriculum

San Beda uses a curriculum that is designed to be responsive to the demands of an increasingly changing medical landscape. It uses an Integrated Problem Oriented Approach (IPOA) that exposes students to patients and clinical material early and encourages its students to think in integrated systems. Students use an integrative approach, borrowing from basic and applied sciences and adapting to patient needs in order to solve clinical problems.

The curriculum is imbued with San Beda’s rich tradition of prayer and work, leading to the development of humane, compassionate, and caring doctors.
