Step 1
1. Letter of application
2. Transcript of records authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post located in the student’s country of origin or residence.
3. Certificate of Graduation or diploma authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post located in the student’s country of origin or residence.
4. Notarized affidavit of support authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post located in the student’s country of origin or residence.
5. Personal history statement, all original documents, including signature, photographs and thumb marks authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post located in the student’s country of origin or residence.
6. Police Clearance certificate issued by the national police authorities in the student’s country of origin authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post located in the student’s country of origin or residence.
7. Original birth certificate authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post located in the student’s country of origin or residence.
8. Certificate of good moral character/ recommendation from two (2) former professors.
9. Application and processing fees – US $200.00 in Manager’s check or International money order payable to the San Beda College of Medicine (non-refundable).
10. Results of the National Medical Admissions Test (NMAT) for medicine. The applicant must have met the minimum level set by the SBCM.
Step 2
1. The SBCM will accept the application, duly filed on time, together with the above mentioned documents.
2. The admissions committee will select qualified applicants for admission.

4. The SBCM will furnish the CHED a copy of the application for issuance of the Certificate of Eligibility (CEA)
Step 3
The CHED will evaluate the student’s records for issuance of the said CEA

a. Notice of Acceptance from San Beda College of Medicine
b. Certificate of Eligibility from CHED
c. Transcript of records and diploma authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post located in the student’s country of origin or residence.
d. Notarized affidavit of support authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post located in the student’s country of origin or residence.
e. Personal history statement, all original, including signature, photographs and thumb marks authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post located in the student’s country of origin or residence.
f. Police Clearance certificate issued by the national police authorities in the student’s country of origin authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post located in the student’s country of origin or residence.
g. Original birth certificate authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post located in the student’s country of origin or residence.
h. Certificate of good moral character/ recommendation from two (2) former professors,
2. The DFA will approve the application and will notify the Foreign Service Post concerned for the issuance of the student visa

Step 5The Registration procedure follows.
Step 6
During the registration procedure, the foreign medical student will pay a one-time fee of US$ 5,000.00 to the Foreign development fund of the SBCM, a fund dedicated to the upgrading of the facilities of the SBCM.
